I am trying something new, it is called “Five on Friday”. Growing up I have always had “Jenny-isms” those random thoughts that just pop into my head to leave my husband shaking his head. I think it is all in how a Woman’s brain works, we see a sign that reminds of our kids, then you remember the kids have an appointment which then makes you remember you need to buy vitamins…all from just seeing a sign.
After almost 6 years of marriage and 10 years of knowing each other he actually gets a kick out of them and enjoys them! So maybe the name should be “Jenny-isms”, might have to think about that. So here are my Five on Friday/Jenny-isms:
1) Haiti, I can’t get Haiti out of my mind. Those babies that are over there sitting on lawns without any shelter, food, clothes…or love. There are many families out there that have been waiting YEARS to adopt one of the precious little ones and yet even after a massive earthquake they still cannot have their children home with them. It truly makes me want to adopt a child from Haiti, they deserve to be loved and sheltered.
2) Life is always changing just the way things go, so it is really odd that life it pretty normal right now. That could be why I want to adopt dog #3!
3) The weather in Spring is finally getting better, of course it is gorgeous during the work week but our weather man promised it would be nice this weekend…only problem is his track record isn’t very good
4) Giving up Diet Coke is much harder than it sounds.
5) The idea of potty training my almost 3 year old son gives me a mild panic attack (and no I don’t normally have panic attacks). There really should be a camp you can send kids to just for the weekend where they potty train them and send them back.
