{Mine on Monday} The Woodlands TX Photographer

These Mine on Monday posts make me happy, they force me to take pictures when normally I wouldn’t.  Case and point we loaded up and headed to Gruene, TX this weekend with my in laws.  Now I knew we were staying in cabin, never asked how big or anything because I know my mother in law and I know her taste.  This is what we saw when we got there:

How cute is that cabin!  Now let me remind you there will be 4 grown adults, 2 kids and 1 dog staying so when I walked in and saw that all of us would be sharing 600 sq ft for the whole weekend…I panicked.  That is right I will admit it I panicked.  Then I really thought about it and the cabin was perfect, we weren’t going to be hanging out inside much so really it was just for sleeping and that is all we did.  So if you think 600 sq feet is small, it is but it works.  I even mentioned to my husband maybe we should just sell out house and live in 600 sq ft, yeah I can still her him laughing.

That at night we went to The Gristmill for dinner totally forgetting that the Valentine’s crowd would be in full force but we managed.  The kids were able to play while the ladies shopped and the guys had a beer or 2:-).  I was able to get both kids to smile for me what else could I ask for?!  And yes Miss Priss has her brothers’ hat…ah well.

Ok remember the Valentines’ crowd?  Well we had to sit on the 3rd level of The Gristmill, I didn’t even know there was a 3rd level.  We joked about it but honestly we had the best seats.  At one point Mr. C grabbed 3 coats: 1 to cover up with and 2 for a pillow and layed down and “people watched”  through the window (sorry no picture of that way too dark).  But this was a picture I took just because, the light was pretty and we were all having a good time.  Well in the picture the “fun” isn’t showing, you know how people are when you say “Act natural, forget I am taking a picture”….they do the polar opposite of that:-)
