1. Layla Grace, if you have not heard of this little girl you can read her story at http://laylagrace.org/. Layla is a 2 year old amazing and strong little girl who is fighting Neuroblastoma. It is amazing to me what has transpired due to this little girl, if you read her moms blog she tells you about it. People finding God, people getting closer to each other, people realizing that kids are extremely precious.
2. I have started cooking. My sessions are back in full swing and normally that would make my life more chaotic but it has actually brought order to my life. Now I cook at least once a week, I wish I could say it is healthy stuff but it isn’t. Most of my recipes are from http://thepioneerwoman.com/cooking/ and when I say they aren’t healthy it could be because almost every recipe includes heavy cream and butter…lots and lots of butter.
3. Apparently I live on chaos that is why I have signed Mr. C up for gymnastics!! It could be a good thing ie. awesome naps on Saturday; or it could be a bad thing ie. he does gymnastics in the house. Either way I hope he loves it, he already likes to stand on his head…
4. The other night we met my mother in law for dinner at restaurant right by our house. By the name of the restaurant you would think it was home cooking and perfectly suitable for 2 kids under 3…..not so much. We walked in and saw the white cloth table clothes and romantic FAKE tea light, normally we would have turned around but my mother in law was already seated. So this is my public apology to that restaurant for my children writing on your white tablecloth with non washable crayons. Moral of my story: Stick with what you know![]()
5. And last but not least my daughter, Miss Priss has curly hair not just curly but the type that sticks to her head. When it is wet it goes down her neck but dry it bungees into curls on her head. I fought the curls (considering my hair is and always has been board straight) because I have no clue what to do with them! I quit, time to embrace the curls. Do you know how many products are out there for curls? Now I know what a first time parents feels like in the baby medicine isle.
