“Obligatory blue bonnet pictures done…Marginal FAIL”, that was my facebook status on Sunday afternoon. This past weekend we celebrated my son’s 3rd birthday with a trip to New Braunfels. I saw a patch of Blue Bonnets everyday and decided that is where our pictures would take place. I did NOT factor in the massive amounts of rain that would fall on Saturday. But we did it (even made my husband do a u-turn to go back to it!), and it went exactly how I expected.
Mr. C is so use to having his picture taken that this is what I get when I say “Smile for Mama”, no teeth just a huge…fake…grin. He was ok with the tall weeds and flowers but then decided to pick the bluebonnets…yup his session was done.
Why do we call my daughter “Miss Priss” because she is! Well to a point some days if her hands are dirty then the world is coming to an end other days she is gladly playing in the dirt. She loves to dress up but is a tomboy…she is exactly like me. So this is the picture I got of her, not happy about the flowers or the dirt. So now you see where the “Obligatory blue bonnet pictures done…Marginal FAIL” came into play.
