Soooo far behind on doing this post but I have been pretty boring lately too:
- It is so weird I went to college at Southwest Texas State University (yes it has a new name but I refuse to call it that) which is about 10 minutes from New Braunfels. In the 5 years (yeah I know :- ) ) I lived there we would tube in New Braunfels…honestly not THAT much. Well now I live 3 hours from there and it is like our mini getaway, funny how life changes huh? Can’t wait to tube next weekend!
- Another reason I love New Braunfels is Gruene, TX the shops are so cute and the food…not diet worthy at all. My favorite store is Pookie Janes it is that store you go in for a candle and come out with 8 more things. What is even better? They have a man pad in the back uh huh a TV and beer for the guys…WIN WIN
- My rugrats are growing and I have never been the mom to talk about how smart and genius bound they are but this deserves props from mom. Driving home yesterday my son said “Mom I see the number 2″, mind you he is 3. I look over and sure enough he is looking at the price of gas and the first number is a 2! I love their daycare, seriously the other day my son pointed out a Brontosaurus (yup spell checked that) on TV and he was right! Genius I tell ya
- Miss Priss is full of attitude lately anything you ask her will be answered with a “No” but honestly I don’t think she knows how to say “Yes”. Because now she says no but shakes her head yes….awesome.
- If you have a kids or even a husband who is a big kid you need to venture to IKEA for this , talk about hours of fun. Making trains, running things over, tracing the road with cars. Perfect for the kids playroom, huge hit for $17!
