I love to read blogs. To this day I still remember when blogs has just come about and all I could think was “why in the world would you want one of those”. Wellllll….now I know. It gives you a glimpse of other peoples lives, like taking a walk and looking over and seeing into someones house (in a non-stalker way). A brief notion of what others go through, some blogs are sad, some are sarcastic, some are just about regular things but I love them!
A blog that I follow is Kelly Hampton, you have to start from the beginning and read her story about her daughter Nella. It is raw and real and amazing all at the same time. Another reason I love her blog is she is a photographer who takes pictures of her daughters. She doesn’t care if she chops off limbs or if it is a quick snapshot. Because in 10 years will any of that matter? Nope…all that you will see is the picture of her girls and the memories that went with it. So I have taken this to heart with pictures of my own kids, mind you I still have the “photographers rules” in my head but if it means chopping off a limb or flipping to Auto to catch that special moment…so be it.
So for the past probably 3 years ie. since having kids, I have not been able to find a bathing suit that fits me or looks decent enough in my eyes. Until I read Kelly Hampton’s’ blog post on her swimsuit and had to buy one..well 2 but in my defense I ordered the wrong color and heck 2 is better than one right. THE swimsuit is this from Popina, did I mention I love it?!
Now onto the rugrats, seriously why can’t someone come up with a potty training camp? Seriously they could be millionaires!
Miss Priss is a talking a ton now, she can even say Mr. C’s name. The best part is when I am sitting down to edit and she tries to push me away from the computer, goes to the couch and says “sit” over and over and over…until I sit. Right when I get comfy she says “BOOK”. Then she listens to 3-4 pages and is done but I love it…LOVE IT.
