Have you heard of Clickinmoms? Are you interested in photography or just taking better pictures of your kids? Then you NEED to become a member. Something that just started is a blog for all the Pros which means you post a picture daily….yes daily. So if you “like” my facebook page you have seen them pop up. I can’t lie at first I thought there was no way I could keep it up but you know what I now take my BIG camera with me to places I normally wouldn’t. I capture things that we do daily that normally I would just let go. I LOVE IT! Here are my images but there are some amazing women that post daily also. Here is what I have captured for the past 2 weeks

The weather could not be more beautiful this Labor Day weekend so of course that means I had to drag my rugrats out for a session. I love these, by far my favorite session with them. Hope you are having great weather and family time

I know I know I am blogging about my dog…well one of them. This is Jake our rescued, black lab mix who is the most amazing and patient dog EVER! We lovingly call our daughter “Elmira” you know the cartoon character that like to squuueeezzeee animals where she thinks she being loving but is really hurting the poor dog? She will ride on Jake, pull his ears, pound on his back…etc…etc. Jake just lays there. When my son (who is now 4) started walking it was a game of cat and mouse between he and Jake. Mr. C would walk up to Jake in the recliner, Jake would jump down to the couch, Mr. C would walk to couch, Jake would jump down to his bed….you get it. He has come SOOOO far in the 6 years we have had him and we just love him. Can you see the love they have for the big guy ? So if you are wanting a new dog PLEASE think about adopting, we have 2 adopted dogs that are just awesome aside from when one is our “escape artist”

This is where my almost 3 year old was when I walked out of the room for 2 minutes…

And since I was taking sisters picture Mr. C wanted his taken…with the hat..legs crossed…scowl on his face. Guess he was acting like a cowboy

One thing I really love about Facebook is seeing all the pages me friends “Like” that I normally would never have know about. I bought Miss Priss this adorable dress from Lillipop Designs, I LOVE it! The thing with Miss Priss is she can be stubborn so you have to work around it like I did with the dress. She is very much a shorts and t-shirt girl but if you let her see how awesome something is and let her come up with idea ie. pigtails & cowboy boots, she is all yours and excited about it. So I did a session with my rugrats, seriously I have started treating their “session” like they are my clients…it works out soooo much better that way!

4th of July was a little different this year due to no fireworks..and I LOVE fireworks . We took the kids to a parade at Market Street and ran into Spiderman, my son who really loves Spiderman..who even had a SPIDERMAN Birthday party would not get anywhere near him. So of course Miss Priss was happy to take a picture with him.

I was able to get one picture of the rugrats together, he may look like he is being Mr. GQ but that is actually him pouting because we had to throw away our lawn chair that was broken…kids are crazy

There is a little path right as your leave my neighborhood that I have been itching to get my kids on for a picture. So one night on our way out to dinner we stopped and I was finally able to get a picture of them on the path. It is funny how something can look so pretty but when you get on it it because a little creepy. 5 minutes, that is all I had…and this is what I got . Yes they are AWESOME at the fake smile, totally guilty in making that happen!

Sometimes at night my husband will do “Rock, Paper, Scissors” to see who gets to put the rugrats to bed. They ie. my daughter, are awesome at stretching bedtime out between the potty, needing a drink, needing a toy…needing shoes. So the other night my husband put both kids to bed and came downstairs so proud that he both went straight to bed. About an hour later I went to check on them…this is where I found Miss. Priss…talk about sucking the wind out of my husbands sail !
